Josh reached out to me as he had been struggling for some time. His first round after our first week of coaching he equaled his lowest round of 80. Another week of coaching and the just cruises a cheeky 77 with a triple up the last.

He was down a rabbit hole of shallowing and in our coaching so far I haven’t even mentioned the word shallow and he is now shallow.

IMO it’s really important to understand some keys when teaching broad chested players.

I see more players with their ball position too far forward with driver than too far back. Do you instructors agree with me?

How do you measure ball position? Through the body lines or on the ground?

STRUGGLING EARLY IN THE SWING? - Finding a early baseline position can help you ⬇️

Faults and fixs #12 of 20

🚩Once again there is no perfect here but this is a baseline for me.

🚩Swing to lead arm level to the ground and measure using a tool like the @skillestapp analysis tool on where the but end of the club is positioned.

🚩Grab an alignment stick and make a swing helping you understand where this is positioned in space.

🚩A good baseline is on or just inside the ball line.

🚩 Make some swings on camera checking this position with the alignment stick and then film with out and see how it looks comparatively.

🚩TIPS: first find out what is perfect for you.
